I wanted to talk about the location of the tragic incident involving Kelin J. Sissoko and Kamel Carpenter. I've been following Oakland's safety issues, and it’s deeply troubling that this happened outside a community event center, a space that's supposed to be safe for gathering. It makes me wonder about security measures these places can implement to protect attendees, especially during large events. It’s often tough to balance accessibility with safety, but maybe this could be a wake-up call for venues to review their protocols. My heart goes out to the families and friends of Kelin and Kamel. It's devastating to see young lives cut short like this, and I hope the investigation finds those responsible soon. I’m also thinking about the community members who might have witnessed this. It must be incredibly difficult for them as well, as it is for everyone impacted by this act of violence. Let's hope there's some progress in solving this soon.
