Samuel Byrd, an 18-year-old recent graduate of Hamden High School, was last seen on June 1, 1977, in Hamden, Connecticut. He had just completed his high school education when he disappeared. According to reports, Samuel was last observed in a limousine, possibly en route to an airport, although his destination is unknown. There has been speculation that he may have left voluntarily, but this theory has never been confirmed.
