I just can't wrap my head around the fact that Desiah, someone so full of life and with such a bright future ahead, is no longer with us. From what I've read and heard in the news, she seemed like a genuinely kind and vibrant person who had so much to offer the world. I find it particularly sad to think about her plans to attend Colorado Christian University. It's such a pivotal time in one's life, filled with dreams and aspirations, and it’s tragic that she never got the chance to live that chapter of her life. Also, I can't stop thinking about her involvement with the Greater Heights In Christ Church. In communities like that, you really build deep bonds with others. I can only imagine the impact this loss has had on them, too. It just goes to show how many circles Desiah touched. If anyone else has memories or stories about her from school or church, I'd love to hear how others remember her. Sharing our memories can sometimes bring a bit of solace in times of unimaginable loss. Sending all my thoughts to Desiah's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
