Has anyone else noticed how Connie’s case seems to have slipped through the cracks over the years? I've been digging through some archives, and it's puzzling how little attention her disappearance received compared to other missing person cases back in 1995.
I wonder if it was overshadowed by other events at the time, or if there was something specific about her case that made media and investigators overlook it. Dayton wasn’t a massive city back then, so you'd think it would have stayed in the local news cycle longer. It's baffling.
Are there any locals or people familiar with Dayton from the 90s here? Did anything come up in the community that suggested why coverage might have been so sparse? It's just frustrating because maybe more attention back then could have led to more clues now.
