I just came across the news about Rashod Barrett's tragic passing in Columbus, and my thoughts are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. It’s so distressing to hear about yet another young life lost to senseless violence. What really stands out to me is how broad daylight crimes can happen and how it leaves families and communities shaken, searching for answers. I hope the community can come together to remember Rashod and support one another while urging anyone with even the smallest piece of information to step forward. No detail is too insignificant when it comes to solving such a crime. If you know anything or noticed something unusual around the 6500 block of Buena Vista Road that day, please, please reach out to Cpl. Jared Berger. We all want justice for Rashod and peace for his loved ones.
