I can't stop thinking about Julian's love for baseball and how much time he spent with that little league. It's just so tragic that a kid who had such a bright future, who grew up with a supportive, tight-knit community around him, was taken away like this.
Knowing that Manny was a coach makes it even harder; they must have spent countless hours practicing in that community, growing together both as a family and as part of this league. I can’t imagine the weight on Manny and his family right now. The bond between a father and son, especially one shared over a love of sports, is something really special.
It makes me wonder what kind of impact Julian had on the younger kids in the league. I'm sure many looked up to him, aspiring to be like Julian both on and off the field. His presence will likely be missed at those games, and I pray that his memory inspires others to live with the same kindness and dedication that he showed.
If anyone in the community knows more about what might have led to this, I really hope they come forward. The police and the family need every bit of help they can get to bring some peace to this awful situation.
Julian’s murder has really shaken the community, especially those who knew him from the Sundown Little League. I can’t help but think about the impact Manny Martinez had as a coach there—he must’ve touched so many lives, including his son’s. It’s just devastating that instead of seeing Julian grow up and continue in his father’s footsteps, his life was cut short so senselessly. I didn’t know the family personally, but my heart goes out to them. It's unimaginable what they must be going through.
Hearing that his dirt bike was involved in the incident makes me wonder if this was a robbery gone wrong or if there’s more to the story. It's frightening to think about teenagers being involved in something so violent. I hope the community continues to support the Martinez family and that those responsible are held accountable. If anyone reading this has information, please reach out to the police. Julian and his family deserve justice.
