Has anyone else been following the case of Camari Hunt? It's just so tragic to read about such a promising young life cut short. I've been thinking about how impactful Camari must have been as a mentor at the Avondale Meadows Middle School Leadership Club. Mentorship can change lives and it sounds like Camari was doing just that—acting as a guiding light for so many young boys.
I can only imagine what a profound loss this must be for not only his family but also for the students and the entire community he was so passionately involved with. It's incredibly moving to see Evolve honor him through the Camari Hunt Exemplary Leadership Award. Recognizing his legacy is such a powerful way to keep his spirit alive and to inspire others to continue the work he was so devoted to.
