Has anyone else been following the case of Julio "Lio" Dayne Matamoros? The whole situation is so tragic and senseless. I can't stop thinking about the impact it's had on his family, especially since his mom, Corrine Rose, talked about his love for family and sports. I read he was a star shortstop and had just been accepted to Indiana Wesleyan University. I keep wondering how much potential and joy the world has lost with his passing. It's also really struck me how the community has come together. The vigils and memorials show such a strong support system for his family and friends. And that GoFundMe campaign... it’s comforting to see so many people contributing, trying to ease at least a bit of the burden off his family. As we keep discussing the case, let's also remember to honor Lio's memory by showing kindness and empathy. ?
