Hey everyone, I just stumbled across this case recently, and it struck me how thorough Rachel was in nearly every aspect of her life. I'm curious about her experience as a nursing student at Santa Rosa Junior College. From what I gather, she was juggling so much—volunteer work, school, and a job. Does anyone know if the community at the college has done anything to honor her memory? It just seems like she was such a promising individual who touched so many lives. Just wondering if there have been any scholarships or events at the college to keep her spirit alive. If you have any info or insight, please share!
Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions on the day Rachel and Jason disappeared at Stump Beach? February can be pretty unpredictable along the Sonoma Coast. I read somewhere that tides and weather can change rapidly, especially in that area. I wonder if there was a strong undercurrent or unexpected wave that might have caught them off guard. It's so tragic to think they might have been enjoying a normal day at the tide pools and something like this happened. I hope that by looking at all possible angles, it brings us closer to understanding what happened that day.
Has anyone else found it odd how neither Rachel nor Jason's bodies were ever recovered, despite the extensive search efforts? I get that the ocean can be unpredictable, but it's always struck me as strange. Those tide pools at Stump Beach can be dangerous, sure, but wouldn't something have surfaced eventually? I've been following this case for years, and it still haunts me. What’s even more puzzling is their personal belongings in Jason’s car, which makes it look like they really planned to return. It's unsettling how they just vanished without a trace. Anyone else have thoughts on why no trace of them has ever been found?
