Has anyone heard any updates on the motive behind Tom Roberts' arrest? This whole situation is so surreal, especially in a quiet place like Barney. Leona Smith was a fixture in our community, and I still can't wrap my head around why anyone would do such a thing to her. It’s deeply unsettling to think something like this could happen in our town. I knew Leona from the market every weekend, she always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Her warmth will be sorely missed. If anyone has more insight or updates, it would be greatly appreciated. And let's keep her family in our thoughts; they must be going through a truly unimaginable time.
