I’ve been following the case of Donta Davis, and I just can’t stop thinking about his family and friends, especially as they try to come to terms with this tragedy. Losing someone so suddenly and violently is unimaginable. I read that the community has been rallying together, holding vigils and meetings to push for action against gun violence, which is really inspiring. It feels like so many lives have been lost to senseless acts like this, not just in LA, but all over the country. I really hope the authorities can find some leads soon, not only to bring justice for Donta but also to help bring some peace to his loved ones. Does anyone know if the community has organized any marches or further meetings to discuss preventive measures?
