I'm really struggling to wrap my head around the situation with Shaneeka and her family. It's so overwhelming to think about her son caught in the middle of this, especially since he was injured during the incident. I can't imagine the trauma of witnessing something so devastating, let alone being physically harmed.
I've been wondering about the impact on the boys, especially since they had to go through the ordeal of talking to the police right after such a traumatic event. The fact that one of them had to identify his own mother as the shooter over the 911 call? That's just a lot for anyone to handle, especially a teenager.
Does anyone know if there are resources available for kids in situations like this? I really hope they’re getting the support they need. It just seems like everyone’s talking about what happened between Shaneeka and Aaron, but there’s not nearly enough attention on what those boys are going through right now. My heart goes out to them and the rest of the family.
