I can't stop thinking about how terrifying that must have been for Tywaun in those final moments. One second, he's just doing a routine task like getting gas, and the next, he's facing such a horrific situation. It's tragic to imagine what his loved ones are going through right now. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this unimaginable time.
I wonder if the suspect was someone he knew or if it was completely random. The randomness factor is so unsettling—just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The community must be on edge, knowing there's someone out there capable of something like this. I hope they find this person soon and bring some semblance of justice for Tywaun.

I can’t stop thinking about how random and senseless this shooting seems to be. I mean, Tywaun Theon Perkins was just going about a normal daily task, pumping gas, when his life was taken from him. It's terrifying to think how a routine stop can become your last, and I can't even begin to imagine the fear and shock he must've felt in those final moments.
What struck me is that this happened in such a public place. How could someone have the audacity to commit such a violent act where anyone could be around? This definitely makes me wonder about the surveillance footage—hopefully, the Exxon had cameras that caught something helpful for the investigation. It just feels so surreal that an ordinary night could end this way.
My heart goes out to Tywaun’s family and friends who have to process this. It must be incredibly difficult to navigate losing someone suddenly to such violence. Hoping justice is served swiftly for them.
