Has anyone else been thinking about the impact of this tragic event on the neighborhood kids who might've witnessed it? It's one thing to hear about violence on the news, but it's another to have it happen right outside your doorstep. My heart goes out to all of Shawn Jackson Jr.'s family and friends, but also to the young ones who might be feeling scared in their own community right now. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for parents trying to explain this kind of senseless tragedy to their children. I really hope the local schools offer resources for these kids to process what happened and feel safe again. Anyone know if there's a neighborhood meeting being organized to address community safety?
