I keep thinking about the impact this tragedy will have on Serina's children. As a community, it's crucial we rally around them, but it's so bewildering to imagine how they'll process everything, especially losing a mother who was their rock. I can't stop picturing her vibrant personality that her son, Issac, mentioned—the "Beautiful Bougie" who was always there for her family. It's comforting to see that a GoFundMe page has been set up to help support them. Even though we can never replace their mother, hopefully, this support will remind them they're not alone and that there are people out here who care. It's times like these where community makes all the difference. ?
