I was reading through Kenneth Crowe's case again, something that's been puzzling me for a while is how his car was found in Big Basin Redwoods State Park. For those who know the area, it's not just some random place you’d leave your car. It's pretty isolated and a spot where you’d go if you had hiking in mind or something specific to do. What I can't wrap my head around is why there weren’t any confirmed sightings of him at the park. People tend to notice unfamiliar faces on trails, especially if you venture there in unique or unusual times. It's odd that no one stepped forward to say they saw him. Did he go there under cover of night? Or is it possible someone else drove the car there to throw off the investigation? Just some thoughts, but it makes me wonder if we've all been looking in the wrong direction with the hiking theory. Would love to hear what others think about this angle.
Hey everyone, I was thinking about Kenneth W. Crowe's case, and something that keeps sticking out to me is the fresh produce he left behind. We know he was self-employed and worked from home, so it seems likely he was in the habit of preparing his meals – maybe something he enjoyed or even found therapeutic. The fresh groceries suggest he was planning on returning home soon, don't you think? It's almost like he intended to go out for a quick trip or errand.
It just doesn’t align with the idea of him wanting to vanish intentionally or harm himself. I wonder if there’ve been any witness reports or sightings in Santa Cruz before his car ended up in Big Basin? Someone must have seen him between those places. If he was getting groceries right before he disappeared, then maybe a conversation with someone around that time could hold a clue.
Really hoping his family gets some answers soon. It must be so tough having no new leads for all these years. If anyone else has thoughts on this angle, I’d love to hear them!
