Did anyone else catch the mention that Kalyl was shot on Otis Place NW? I used to live just a couple of streets over, and I can't believe this happened so close to home. It makes me think about how many times my friends and I walked in that area, completely unaware of how quickly things can turn dangerous. I feel so much for Kalyl’s family and friends—no one should have to experience this. I've seen posts with people mentioning the importance of speaking up if anyone saw or heard anything, and I couldn't agree more. This neighborhood has always been tight-knit, and I hope that unity can help bring some justice for Kalyl.
