I wanted to share something that’s been on my mind about the tragic case of Schweitzer Dessin. It’s the surveillance footage that really lingers for me. I’m grateful for technology providing an essential puzzle piece here, but I keep thinking about the people who had to review it, frame by frame. It must have been incredibly tough to see those moments unfold over and over. Yet, it’s pivotal for bringing justice and understanding what happened that horrible night in Nutter Park. I'm thinking about Schweitzer’s family and the rollercoaster of emotions they must be on, especially as more details emerge from the investigation. They're in my thoughts, and I hope they find some solace in the community rallying around them during this devastating time. And for anyone who was in the park that day, I can’t imagine how difficult it must be to process the chaos and fear of such a traumatic event. Stay strong, everyone.
