I just read about the tragic incident at the Foothills Mall, and my thoughts are with the Grimaldo family during this incredibly painful time. I can't imagine the shock and devastation of losing not one but two loved ones so suddenly. Learning about their deaths through social media must have been an extremely distressing experience for Cassandra. It's heartbreaking to hear about the young age of the suspect arrested for such a serious crime. It makes me wonder what leads a 16-year-old to become involved in such violence. The fact that this situation may be tied to gang activity adds another layer of complexity and heartbreak. No family should have to navigate such senseless violence and loss. I hope the community can come together to support the Grimaldos and help them find some measure of solace.
