I'm really struck by the details emerging from this case, especially regarding the aftermath of the incident. It's reported that Jose Gonzales-Hernandez was found only a few miles from Edi Ruiz's apartment, and it makes me wonder about the state of mind he was in after the shooting. Where did he plan to go with just a backpack and a bicycle? Was he in a panic, or did he have a destination in mind? It's so upsetting to think about Edi's family and friends and what they're going through right now. The idea of someone you know suddenly being gone under such tragic circumstances is incredibly difficult to comprehend. I hope the detectives can piece everything together soon so there can be some sort of closure for everyone involved. Would love to hear more thoughts on what might have been going through Gonzales-Hernandez's mind during those hours after the shooting.
