Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Trevyiente Anthony Smith-Henry, and something that's been sticking with me is the location of the shooting. It happened outside a Burger King, a place you wouldn’t usually associate with such a tragic event. It was late at night around 11:45 p.m., but still, parking lots of fast-food places are usually well-lit and frequented spots. Makes you think about the randomness of violence and how it can touch everyday places we take for granted. I’ve heard the franchisee has been really forthcoming, even issuing a statement offering their condolences and working with law enforcement. While it’s good to see them involved, I can’t help but feel for the employees who might have been working that night. It’s a big thing to process for anyone knowing something so terrible happened right outside their workplace. It’s unnerving that a motive hasn't been identified yet, and no suspects have been named. This lack of clarity must be so hard for Trevyiente's friends and family. It's a reminder of how important it is for us as a community to come together and share anything we might know. Hopefully, more information will come to light soon, and justice will be served. If anyone in the area knows something, I hope they find the courage to reach out to law enforcement and help piece together what happened that night. Stay safe, everyone.
