Has anyone else looked into the truck driver angle mentioned in this case? It always seemed odd to me that authorities didn’t follow up thoroughly on the man living with Lesley who said they left with a truck driver. I mean, it's quite a specific detail to share, and if they did leave with someone, it could mean they had help or were planning to go a long distance. I wonder what led him to say that and why it wasn't pursued more actively. Maybe contacting trucking companies from that time or using CB radio networks could have shed some light? Just thinking out loud here—it feels like such an important detail that might have been overlooked. Does anyone else have thoughts or more information on this?
