Has anyone else come across details about the brown 1981 Chevrolet Caprice that Lesley and the kids were supposedly traveling in? It's strange how a uniquely identifiable car like that just vanished without a trace. Did any witnesses spot it on major routes around the time the family disappeared? It feels like that car could be a crucial lead, but there seems to be no mention of its discovery in any reports I've seen. Sometimes small-town sightings, like a vehicle parked for a while in an unusual spot, can be overlooked. Would be interesting to know if anyone who lived or traveled through that area during that time remembers anything odd about a parked brown Caprice.
