Kyle Nicholas James Anderson, aged 9, went missing on April 11, 2000, from Fulton, Mississippi, along with his siblings Cameron and Rachel. The children were last seen with their mother, Lesley Allen, who had custody of them following her divorce from Jeff Anderson in 1997. Jeff was granted visitation rights and was scheduled to see the children later in the year, but in April 2000, Lesley and the three children disappeared. Lesley’s roommate reported that they had left with a truck driver, leaving behind two of Lesley’s older children from a previous relationship.
The family was possibly traveling in a brown 1981 Chevrolet Caprice with Mississippi license plates. Despite extensive investigations, no school or medical records have been requested for the children since their disappearance, and there has been no trace of the family's whereabouts. Initially, authorities considered it a family abduction, but the lack of contact or evidence over the years has raised concerns about their safety.
The case remains unsolved, with authorities and family continuing to search for any leads regarding their location. Indiana police have also been involved in the investigation, as Jeff Anderson had moved to Indiana after the divorce. The children’s cases have been added to missing person databases, and their photos have been age-progressed in hopes of generating new leads.
