I've been following the tragic case of Darnesha Mitchell and it's truly a devastating situation. I came across this detail that seems to be overshadowed by the broader discussions: Did anyone else hear about the footsteps heard by a neighbor around the time of the incident? I read that someone nearby reported hearing quick footsteps running away from the scene shortly after 1 a.m., but I haven't seen much follow-up on it yet.
It makes me wonder if it was the suspect leaving or maybe just someone who got startled by the gunshot. Hoping the investigators are looking into this because every small detail could potentially bring justice for Darnesha and some peace to her dad and the rest of her family.
