Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the bystanders who were at the car wash on the night Colleen Reed was abducted. I can't imagine how haunting it must be to hear someone in distress and feel powerless to help them. Those witnesses likely replayed that night over and over, wishing they could have intervened in some way. These moments of helplessness must weigh heavily on them, even years later. I truly hope they've found some peace and healing over time. It's such a stark reminder of how unpredictable and cruel life can be. I genuinely admire the courage it must take to live with such a memory, all while knowing they played a crucial role in reporting those initial, vital details to authorities. Their actions hopefully gave Colleen's loved ones some sense of justice and have, without a doubt, contributed to crucial reforms that could help prevent similar tragedies from happening again. Thinking of all those impacted by this horrible crime, including the bystanders who not only witnessed but actively contributed to efforts in seeking justice. Stay safe, everyone.
