I've been diving deep into the tragic story of Edna Louise Sullivan, and what's really been haunting me is the thought of her last moments. Being so young and vibrant, out with friends at a baseball field, only to have everything change in an instant because of two men’s horrific decisions. It's unimaginable what she and her friends went through, and my heart aches for their families. The thing that shocks me the most is how the justice system let them down. McDuff's parole was such a colossal failure, allowing him to continue his killing spree. It’s terrifying to think that a system meant to protect us can sometimes have such fatal flaws. I hope sharing her story keeps these issues in the spotlight and helps prevent future tragedies. Sending love and strength to anyone who knew Edna and her friends. They deserved so much better.
