Does anyone else find it chilling how Macon kept returning to the same locations? It's haunting to think about what it must have been like for Barbara Jean Tuttle's family to discover that another victim was found in the same house where her tragic death occurred. It seems like Macon had no regard for the trauma and pain he caused, not just to the victims themselves, but to their families and the entire community. It's so important for us to keep discussing these cases, not just for justice but to push for changes in the system that might prevent this from happening to someone else in the future. Also, while it’s some comfort that Macon is now behind bars for life, my thoughts go out to Barbara’s loved ones who had to cope with the uncertainty for so many years. I hope they’ve found some sense of peace, if that’s even possible after such a horrific loss.
