Hey everyone, I've been digging into the Librada Apodaca case, and there's something that's been keeping me up at night. Can we talk about the role of her nephew in all of this? It's baffling to me that he was there on the same day she was murdered and was known to be struggling with addiction and financial issues. Was this ever investigated thoroughly?
I wonder if law enforcement was too focused on Lucas's bogus confessions to look into her nephew with a fine-tooth comb. The fact that the axe was carefully hidden behind a dryer suggests that the killer knew their way around the house. If her nephew had been in dire need of money, could desperation have led to this brutal act? It seems like such an important angle that might not have been fully explored.
I genuinely feel for Apodaca's family—living with this uncertainty for so long is unimaginable. Hopefully, with advances in forensic science and renewed interest in cold cases, there's still a chance for justice and closure. Would love to hear your thoughts or any info you might have come across regarding her nephew.
