Has anyone else been following the updates on Roberta Tandarich's case? I’ve been thinking a lot about the role of confessions in cold cases like this. It’s so frustrating to think it took a serial killer’s confession for Roberta’s family to get some form of confirmation on what they suspected all along. It’s devastating for her loved ones but must give them some sense of validation to know they were right. I'm curious about how the authorities will handle Samuel Little’s confession regarding Roberta since her death was initially classified as undetermined. I can’t imagine the mixed emotions her family must be going through, finally having this confirmation after so many years but still waiting for justice to be served. Does anyone know if a confession like this can lead to reopening a case or charge someone already serving life sentences?
