I've been thinking a lot about the friends and family of Constance Marie 'Connie' Terrell, especially considering the long years they waited for justice. It's chilling to think about how they had to go through their lives not knowing who was responsible for taking her away. Lindsey's arrest in 1996, years after Connie's murder, must have been a bittersweet moment for them. I can't even begin to fathom the mix of emotions they felt—finally having answers but also reliving all that pain. What baffles me is how Lindsey managed to evade capture for so long. It really makes you wonder about the investigative challenges back then and how many cold cases might still be out there because of similar circumstances. The justice system and law enforcement have probably come a long way since the '80s and '90s, but there's always room for improvement. My heart goes out to all those affected by these horrendous crimes. Losing a loved one in such a violent way is a tragedy no one should have to endure.
