I've been thinking about the bravery Debra showed during such a terrifying event. It's absolutely tragic what happened to her afterward, but her initial escape from Lindahl's grasp was nothing short of courageous. We've seen how these predators create such fear, yet she managed to report him despite knowing the risks. It's incredibly disappointing that the system allowed Lindahl to be released on bail, only for her to vanish months later. She did everything right despite the horrible situation she was forced into. Her family must have gone through unimaginable pain, hoping for justice that never fully came. Keeping her memory alive is vital as more of Lindahl's crimes are unearthed. She was more than a victim; she was a fighter.
