I recently stumbled upon the case of Catherine Medina while browsing old reports, and I can't stop thinking about her final moments. Imagine being in an altered state, arguing with someone you trust, and then suddenly finding yourself at the mercy of a monster like Adolph Laudenberg. It's horrifying to think how a simple cab ride, something many of us take for granted, became the beginning of a nightmare for her. Her story is a chilling reminder of how, back then, women weren't as protected or believed as they are now. Thank goodness advancements in DNA technology finally brought some justice, but it's just so sad it took so long. My thoughts are with Catherine's family and all the victims who suffered at the hands of this man. They deserved better.
