Hey everyone, I’ve been reading up on the tragic case of Linda Wheeler and her children, and something about the footwear found at the site is really sticking with me. The investigators found five sets of tennis shoes at the campsite, which initially led them to believe there could be another victim or missing person. It made me think—could there be significance in the brand or size of these shoes that might have gone unnoticed? If they were distinct in any way, maybe they could provide a clue about who else might have been involved or visited the site. Considering the time period and the remote location, it seems strange that they would all have tennis shoes, unless they were brought there by someone who knew the terrain or had planned this in advance. Maybe it’s a long shot, but has anyone come across any details about the shoes or if the investigators followed that lead? My heart truly goes out to their family—decades without answers must be so incredibly painful. Hoping somehow, someday, the truth comes to light. Stay safe, everyone.
