I've been digging into the details of the Diana Robertson case, and something has been puzzling me. The note found in Mike Riemer's truck saying “I love you, Diana” seems so out of place given the circumstances. If Riemer were involved in her murder, why would he leave such an affectionate message? Could it have been a way to throw off investigators, or perhaps a sign of regret? On the other hand, if he was also a victim, then who wrote it and why was it so prominently placed? I feel for Diana's family having to deal with such a confusing piece of evidence. It's one of those details that just keeps me coming back to this case, hoping for some clarity for her and her loved ones. Anyone else have thoughts on this note and what it might mean?
