Has anyone looked into whether Andrew McElwaine could have traveled out of El Paso around the time he went missing? I know it's been over two decades, but every detail could help. His case has bothered me for a while because it feels like there are important pieces missing. Given his medical condition and pronounced limp, he would’ve likely struggled with long trips, but it’s still worth considering if he might have been with someone who could have helped him. I've read about cases where people disappear and are later found in other states or even countries. Did anyone ever check transportation records—buses, trains, anything like that—from El Paso around December 2002? Sometimes records from that era are still available, and digging deeper could uncover a new lead.
Has anyone else been following the Andrew McElwaine case? It's been over two decades, and still no solid leads on what happened after he was last seen in El Paso. Something interesting I noticed: Andrew had a unique set of tattoos - a gecko on his shoulder and a tribal band on his upper left arm. I wonder if these could have been distinctive enough to catch someone's attention if they saw him after he disappeared. Tattoos are pretty memorable, which makes me curious about why there weren't more sightings reported. Could it be that they were covered or maybe these identifiers didn't make it into the right databases early on? I hope that someone who might have seen him, possibly not knowing he was a missing person, might come forward one day. If you have any thoughts about this, I’d love to hear them.
