Has anyone else been reading up on the Kearsley Home case from the early '80s? I've been diving into the details, and something that really stands out to me is the terrifying lack of oversight at the nursing home. How on earth did no one notice what was happening for months? It's so unsettling to think that such heinous acts could go unnoticed in a place supposed to provide care and safety to its residents. My heart goes out to Eugenia Borda’s family and the families of the other victims. They trusted the facility to look after their loved ones, and the system utterly failed them. It's frightening to think about the conditions that must have allowed this to happen. Anyone have thoughts on what could have been done differently to prevent such a tragedy?
