Has anyone else been struck by how Roxanne was planning to attend law school at Rockhurst University? It’s so tragic that her promising future was stolen from her, especially since she had overcome so much to get there. Being raised by her aunt and uncle, she didn’t have it easy, but it seems like she had such a strong support system in them. It’s heart-wrenching to think about what might have been if her life hadn’t been so brutally cut short. Her determination to pursue law as a career speaks volumes about her strength and character. I hope her memory encourages others to follow their dreams, no matter the obstacles they might face. Does anyone know if there have been any scholarships or memorials established in her honor at Rockhurst? It would be inspiring to see her legacy live on through something like that.
