One aspect of Regina Granville's case that really struck me is the choice of the murder locations. Two of Johnson's victims, including Regina, were left in public spaces like construction sites and vacant lots. It just highlights for me how callous and uncaring he was. To leave Regina out in the open, in a place where construction workers or passersby could find her... it's so disrespectful and just feels like an additional violation. My heart genuinely goes out to her family, who had to deal with the news not only of her death but the manner and place where her body was left. It's moments like these that remind us how vulnerable people living on the margins truly are, and how predators like Johnson take advantage of that. I hope conversations like this one can keep the memories of Regina and the other victims alive and emphasize the importance of community vigilance and police work in preventing future tragedies.
