I was reading about Omo Ovella Glenn Wyler and the other patients affected by Vickie Dawn Jackson's actions at Nocona General Hospital, and I can't stop thinking about the hospital's accountability in all this. It's deeply troubling that these incidents went unnoticed for so long, especially with multiple suspicious deaths in such a short time frame. I mean, how does a hospital not notice that vials of Mivacron are missing until it's too late? The responsibility to safeguard their patients from harm was totally breached here. It just makes me feel for the families, like Wyler's, who placed their trust in this facility. It's like their loved ones were sent into a place meant for healing, not knowing it would be the exact opposite. I can’t imagine the kind of pain and betrayal that would cause. We often put complete faith into medical institutions, and when they falter so catastrophically, it’s the patients and their families left to pick up the pieces. I'm glad the investigation led to some form of justice, but it leaves me questioning how such a breakdown in protocol wasn't caught sooner. Thoughts?
