Has anyone else been following the details of Garland L. Taylor Jr.'s case from back in 1994? Something that’s been on my mind is the role that Elton M. Jackson played, or *didn’t* play, in these tragic events. Jackson was charged with Andrew “Andre” Smith’s murder, but it’s still unclear if he was involved in the other homicides, including Garland’s. I can't imagine the pain Garland’s family must be going through, not knowing for sure who took their loved one away. What really gets me is the difficulty investigators had because of the spread across multiple jurisdictions. Different police departments often don't communicate effectively, and unfortunately, that means clues or patterns could be overlooked. It's frustrating thinking how these obstacles might have delayed justice for Garland and the others. I'm hoping that with advancements in forensic technologies and more attention to cold cases, there will be new leads soon. This family deserves answers, and the community deserves closure. Sending my thoughts to all of Garland’s loved ones.
