Hey all, I've been researching Minnie's life and stumbled upon something that's really haunting. It seems Minnie was genuinely trying to build a new life for herself in Chicago, especially coming from such a tragic past with the loss of her parents. The fact that she had the courage to move from Texas to Chicago speaks volumes about her strength and resilience. It's devastating to think that someone with such aspirations and potential was caught up in Holmes' twisted nightmare. Does anyone else find it incredibly sad how her life, with all its potential, was manipulated and ultimately destroyed by someone like Holmes? She deserved so much better than the tragic end she faced. It's truly chilling to think about the extent of Holmes' manipulation and how he preyed on people who were only looking to better their lives.
