I've been following the Santa Rosa hitchhiker murders for a while now, and something about Maureen Sterling and Yvonne Weber's case makes me think there's more to uncover. It's so chilling to think that they were just two young girls wanting to have a fun night out at the Redwood Empire Ice Arena, and they never got to go home. I recently read about a witness who thought they might have seen someone resembling Ted Bundy approaching them. What's haunting is that the case still stirs up so many questions even after all these years. I can't imagine how the families must feel, still having no answers or justice. It makes you wonder if there were more people who might have seen something that night on Guerneville Road. Every tiny detail or observation could potentially lead to a breakthrough. Hoping that one day, someone comes forward with that missing piece of the puzzle. My heart goes out to their families—they deserve closure.
