It's really chilling to learn about the heinous acts of Ramon Torres Hernandez and his partners-in-crime. I've been thinking about Rosa Maria Rosado and what her family must have gone through after her abduction and murder. The sheer horror and grief they must have felt is unimaginable. What strikes me about this case is the role that Asel Abdygapparova played in all of this. I can't help but wonder what her life was like before meeting Hernandez, and what led her to get involved in such horrific crimes. Considering she’s eligible for parole in 2045, I personally feel conflicted. On one hand, people sometimes change over decades, especially in prison, but on the other, the gravity of her involvement in Rosa's murder can't be overlooked. I hope Rosa’s family continues to find strength and support. They deserve peace after everything they've endured. This case is a reminder of how crucial it is to address these issues to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
