Has anyone else delved into the history of 'The Jungle' where Antoinette Jones' body was discovered? It's eerie to think about this undeveloped stretch of land right in the heart of Seattle being the backdrop for such horrific crimes. I recently read that this area was frequented by homeless individuals, making it a vulnerable space for those just trying to find some semblance of shelter. It's incredibly sad to think how Antoinette and the other victims were brutally taken from their loved ones in such a desolate area. The fact that this place became a hunting ground for DeWayne Lee Harris is terrifying. Has the city done anything since then to make this area safer? I can't imagine the fear this sparked in the community back then. My heart goes out to all the families coping with these terrible losses. Would love to hear your thoughts and any updates on how Seattle has changed since these tragic events.
