Has anyone ever come across any additional information about the places Ildefonso may have been looking for work? I keep thinking about how he was supposedly heading downtown in Spokane to find a job at a hotel. I wonder if there's anyone who worked in the hotel industry around that time who might remember him. It's so strange that someone could just vanish like that, especially when he seemed to have a clear plan for the day. Perhaps someone who worked in downtown Spokane back in 2004 might recall seeing him? I feel like there might be clues in these small details that could help in refreshing the investigation.
It's been almost two decades since Ildefonso Flores disappeared from Spokane, and I still can't stop thinking about his case. One thing that's always puzzled me is why he was in Spokane to begin with. I understand he was staying with his sister-in-law for about three weeks, but what was the plan after that? Did he mention anything to his family or friends about what he intended to do long-term? Was he planning on staying in Spokane, or was he supposed to return to Kaiser, Oregon? Maybe there are answers hidden in his plans for the future. If anyone knew him back then, perhaps they could shed some light on this—sometimes the smallest details can make a world of difference in these cases.
Has anyone looked into the specific hotel Ildefonso was supposedly heading to when he went missing? I'm curious because sometimes places like that have records or logs of who might have been there that day, especially if it's a larger hotel that keeps detailed employment inquiries. Also, did anyone from the hotel staff come forward with any information back then, or has anyone checked if the hotel had security cameras running at that time? It seems like a potential lead that might have been overlooked or could be revisited now that technology has advanced so much. I know it's been a while, but sometimes looking at the background details can give new insights.
