Did anyone else find it particularly chilling how Anna Marie Hahn was able to travel with her son while committing these heinous acts? It's disturbing to imagine that a person responsible for such brutal murders was also a mother, living what seemed like a normal life. It makes me wonder what kind of environment her son was exposed to during those trips. And poor George Obendoerfer, a hardworking cobbler just on a journey he thought was with a friend. The betrayal must have been unimaginable. I can't help but feel for his family, and for the families of all her victims, who must have been left with unanswered questions and a lot of grief. How she managed to fool so many is terrifying, especially when you think of the trusting nature older individuals might have had back then, not expecting the kind of malice Hahn concealed.
