I’ve been following Lisa Susan O'Rourke’s case closely, and I can't shake the feeling of how vulnerable she must have felt in her final moments. It’s hard for me to imagine the fear she experienced after getting into that truck, probably thinking she was getting a ride and some help but ending up in such danger. What strikes me the most, and I think isn’t talked about enough, is the role truck stops can play in these kinds of crimes. They are such transient places with so many people coming and going from all over. While truck stops are essential for long-haul drivers, I wonder what improvements could be made in monitoring or security to prevent interactions from escalating into something deadly. It’s chilling to think that these locations can sometimes turn into the last stops for innocent lives like Lisa's. Sending my heartfelt condolences to Lisa’s family and friends. It must be incredibly difficult knowing what she went through, and I hope her story continues to shed light on the dangers of these situations to prevent future tragedies.

Has anyone else noticed how easily Sean Goble was able to cross state lines and continue his crimes? It's horrifying to think about the lack of communication between states back then, which might have allowed him to evade capture for so long. I can't imagine the pain Lisa's family must have gone through during those months of uncertainty about what happened to her after she went missing. It really makes you appreciate how far we’ve come with technology in tracking and solving these cases today. It's just so sad that Lisa's story had to unfold this way. Sending thoughts to everyone who loved her.
