Does anyone else find it odd that there haven't been more sightings or leads regarding Carlos and Hazel given that this case has been cold since 2005? I mean, how does a father with two young kids just disappear into thin air like that, even with fake IDs? You'd think someone would have noticed a man traveling with a toddler who needs regular asthma medication. It's intriguing, too, how they might have been living under different aliases this whole time. Does anyone have insight into how frequent communication is maintained with institutions like schools or hospitals in Mexico? It seems like there might be records somewhere if they’re still out there. Also, it's amazing and frustrating in equal measure how people become invisible after crossing borders. It raises so many questions about tracking and cooperation between countries in such cases.
