I've been thinking a lot about Shui Mak's case lately. I can't imagine what her family went through after she disappeared. I keep coming back to the fact that she was just living her life, and then suddenly she became a victim of such horrific violence. The randomness of it all is chilling. How do you comprehend that kind of evil still lingering under the guise of everyday life? Also, I read somewhere that Shui was abducted in broad daylight from a place that seemed safe and familiar. It baffles me how the Ripper Crew managed to pull off these abductions without being caught sooner. It shows how they operated with such calculated plans but also leaves me desperately wishing someone had noticed something that day. If only more awareness existed then, maybe things could have been different. My heart goes out to her family and friends—it's unimaginable to lose someone in such a cruel way.

I recently stumbled upon some old newspaper clippings about Shui Mak's case and was struck by the fact that she was a young woman who had her whole life ahead of her before she was cruelly taken away by the Ripper Crew. What haunts me is thinking about how terrified she must have been in her final moments. Living in Hanover Park, a place that should have been safe, makes this even more appalling. It's terrifying to know that such evil was lurking in an otherwise quiet community. My heart goes out to her family and friends who had to endure such a devastating loss. I hope they found some solace over the years, knowing that the perpetrators were eventually caught and faced justice. It's crucial to keep Shui's memory alive and remember her as a person, not just a victim of these crimes. Does anyone know if there have been any memorials or tributes held in her honor?
